Imagine this – you are sitting by the pool on a hot summer day, sipping LIITs as we speak and just enjoying your time! We all have heard “Cake By The Ocean”, but in this scorching heat it should be “Cocktails By The Pool”. Nothing says summer quite like sipping your favorite cocktail drinks at a pool party. Summertime means party time and what better way can you enjoy it than getting tanned by the pool sipping margaritas or maybe gin or tonic or any other cocktail recipes that you love.

Summer Fresh Margarita: When life gives you lemons, make a margarita. This cocktail with a tequila recipe is timeless. With just four ingredients, you will have the most delicious pitcher of summer drinks. Add pure cane syrup to fresh lemon juice, mix it with silver tequila and triple sec, bring out your cocktail shaker and pour the drink on ice. 

Mango Sangria: There is a misconception about Sangria that it could only be made out of lemon and orange, and it is far from the truth. This wine cocktail recipe is heaven for wine lovers. Just blend mango rum, pineapple juice, mango syrup, and white wine (Zinfandel would work best), with ice and there you have summer in your glass. 

Strawberry Passion Fruit Mojito: Who does not love a good mojito? Mojitos are classic, be it cocktail or virgin. Add 44 ml of light rum with 3ml of mint concentrate, 15 ml of strawberry puree and 15 ml of passion fruit syrup, and 22 ml of lime juice and mint leaves in a blender. Pour the content into a glass, top it off with some club soda and there your drink is ready. 

Honey Blossom Colada: Remember Escape, Rupert Holmes song? “If you like pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain”, imagine yourself playing this music in the background with some Indian version of lei adorning your neck and you are sipping on some colada, how does it sound? It is mouth-watering to us. Add 37 ml of silver rum with 22ml of honey mango syrup, 7ml of elderflower syrup, 60 ml of pineapple juice and 89 ml of coconut puree. Blend it all and serve with ice in cocktails glasses. 

Ripe Strawberry Daiquiri: The easiest drink recipe ever. Just add 37 ml of citrus rum with 200 ml of strawberry fruit smoothie, and there your frozen drink is ready. There is nothing like a taste of strawberry on a summer evening, you get it?

Blue Peach Long Island: If you are on a hunt for nice, easy and delicious cocktails with Vodka recipes, then this could be an option for you. In a blender mix 15 ml of blue curacao syrup, 60 ml of sweet and sour mix, 15 ml of gin, tequila, vodka, light rum, and 15ml of peach syrup with a splash of lemon soda. Take out your cocktail glass, pour in some ice, strain your drink, garnish and serve. 

Fuzzy Peach Bourbon Sour: Big fan of whiskey and bourbon? Take out 45 ml of your favourite bourbon with 15 ml of natural peach and 22ml of lemon juice. Shake it all with ice and serve in some nice double old-fashioned cocktail glasses. 

Rum and Tonic: No we did not misspell it. We are indeed talking about the classic Caribbean drink that turns the vacation mode on even if you are sipping it by the pool. Add 60 ml of white rum with 150 ml of chilled tonic water and 2 dashed lemon bitters. Shake it all on ice and serve it with lemon peel. 

Hot Caribbean Margarita: Another drink from the island of the west indies and a kick for spicy cocktails lovers. Add 37 ml of silver tequila to 22 ml of pineapple rum, 22 ml of spicy mango syrup and 22 ml of lime syrup, squeeze in some lemon and orange wedge, shake it and serve it. 

Watermelon Gin Crush: Add 3 chunks of watermelon with 7 ml of watermelon syrup, 30 ml of gin, and 15ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice and blend it all. Take out your martini glass, put on some crushed ice, strain your drink and add 60 ml of sparkling wine on top. There you have the best gin cocktail to enjoy.
