Deepika Padukone tied the knot with fellow actor Ranveer Singh was the most elaborate Indian wedding we’ve ever seen. They had hosted a Mehendi ceremony, a prewedding ceremony, and two separate wedding ceremonies: a Konkani for Deepika’s faith and an Anand Karaj for Ranveer’s. For the Mehendi ceremony, Deepika wore a blush pink shaded traditional outfit by renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi. Neha Pendse of Bigg Boss 12 fame, tied the knot with her long-time beau, Shardul Bayas in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony. Neha wore a stunning lehenga choli set with a splash of colours from Papa Don’t Preach By Shubhika. She matched it with bright, yellow stilettos. Neha kept her look fun and minimalist with a half-up top knot hairstyle and minimum accessories. For the wedding ceremony, the actress took the ethnic lane and entered under phoolon ki chaadar in a complete Maharashtrian look with a pastel pink navauri saree, nath, chandrakor tikali (half-moon-shaped bindi), and had her hair tied in a beautiful, floral bun. 6. Love For Whites By Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja eschewed the usual suspects and wore a bespoke lehenga by textile revivalist Anuradha Vakil. Sonam Kapoor’s handwoven textile for the lehenga was developed in Madhya Pradesh using a special gold and silk yarn. The embroidery was created using the kalabattu technique with real gold and silver threads, and the entire piece was centred around a stylized lotus motif. She accessorized her bridal lehenga with a stunning vintage style set that commanded all the attention. A Rajputana necklace layered with a guttapusalu necklace, matching earrings, and a multi-stranded matha patti rounded off her look. But what we loved was the white-colored outfits. If you look closely, the panels are in fact soft pastel pink, mint green, and yellow. It took the team almost 18 months to complete this outfit. Gauahar Khan married choreographer Zaid Darbar in an intimate Nikkah ceremony on the 25th of December and we all can’t help but admire the wedding. Gauahar wore a brocade lehenga paired with a quirky mirror work blouse for her mehendi ceremony.
