Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah tied the knot with popular sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony in Goa on Monday, March 15. The Jasprit Bumrah wedding rumors were doing the round for a while and there was a lot of curiosity around the ‘Jasprit Bumrah wife name’ on social media. The cricketer put an end to all the conjectures on Monday and finally confirmed his relationship with Sanjana Ganesan by directly dropping their wedding pictures along with a heartfelt caption.

Sharing the wedding photos, Sanjana and Jasprit wrote that they have “begun a new journey.” The couple called it one of the happiest days of their lives. “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you,” Sanjana and Jasprit signed off on Instagram.

The couple wore Sabyasachi-designed outfits on their big day. The gorgeous bride, Sanjana Ganesan, looked even better in the classic Sabyasachi pink bridal lehenga, meticulously embroidered using silk floss. While the handsome groom, Jasprit Bumrah, wore a pale pink embroidered raw silk sherwani, paired with a tussar-georgette shawl embellished with ‘zari’ embroidery. His look is accessorized with strands of tourmalines and a kilangi studded with uncut diamonds and tourmalines from the Sabyasachi heritage jewellery collection.

Sanjana Ganesan was looking resplendent in Anavila’s Tuscany jamdani linen sari which was paired up with a plain, sleeveless, boat-neckline blouse and big silver jhumkas during her Haldi ceremony. Jasprit wore a plain pastel light blue kurta and a white pajama along with a matching dupatta. The couple looks like they had enjoyed a lot during their Haldi ceremony.

Rocking Sangeet Fits

The sangeet night is one of the most fun pre-wedding functions and this really handsome couple had certainly rocked the look where Sanjana wore a purple lehenga with silver detailing, and Jasprit wore Kunal Rawal’s signature deconstructed sherwani in midnight navy adorned with custom-made Kunal Rawal Ashoka buttons and bespoke patent black brogues to complete the look.

Wedding Venue Decoration

The pictures posted by the couple show that they got married at a gurudwara in Goa. The complete background of their pictures is full of flowers of warm yet subtle hues. The background has dark magenta and light pink color flowers at the bottom mixed with orange one which rises to adjust with the yellow ones which finally get immersed in the white-colored flowers at the top. For the Haldi, we can spot marigold flower decoration in the background.

The couple had put gorgeous jaimalas on each other. The jaimalas were made up of baby pink and white flowers which looked perfectly compatible with their outfits and their colors.

Sanjana was seen flaunting her Mehendi while wearing a lime green outfit, but the thing which caught the attention of the fans was the logo of the ICC World Cup made on her hand. This has given rise to stories like that say that the couple met each other during that particular tournament and had started on this beautiful journey of theirs.
