25+ New and Latest Bridal Gharara Design for Indian Wedding

A Gharara is a traditional Lucknowi garment that is worn by Muslim ladies. You will often find Muslim brides wearing heavily embellished gharara designs for their wedding or other wedding-related functions. However, it should not be confused with a sharara.

The basic difference between the two is that a traditional gharara design is fitted (can be loose or tight) from the waist down to the knees followed by a flare. There is generally a thick band (traditionally silver gota) at the knee and is mostly worn with mid-thigh kurtis and dupatta.
Whereas a sharara is a loose, flared, wide legged bottom starting from the waist till the toes. It can be worn with long or short kurtis or even anarkali.
