This style of bindi can be typically seen in Andhra weddings. It is also called “Parvathi Devi Tilak” as it is believed that Devi Parvathi used to keep wear her bindi in this style. It is also said to bring prosperity to the bride’s life.

4. The Dainty Small Bindi

The brides nowadays have been seen wearing a small bindi to keep up with the minimalist trend. The small bindi looks very elegant and can be worn for any function.

5. The Bengali Bindi

This is one of the most elaborate styles of bindi that can be seen in Indian culture. It is made with red kumkum with white swirling patterns around it and over the eyebrows. The patterns can be small or as extravagant as the brides want. This style is very typical to Bengali brides making them look amazing and gorgeous in every way. Actress Bipasha Basu had adorned a simple and elegant Bengali style bindi for her wedding.

6. The Shining Bindi

In this style, you can either use a glittering stud alone or include small stones on the bindi. The simple stud looks extremely elegant and can be worn for any function and any attire. A stud over a bindi style can have many variations as well as can be seen in the below pictures.

7. Bindi Over the Eyebrow
