You know you are in love and can’t wait to spend the rest of your life together, the wedding becomes the obvious next step. For Navjot and Kanwar, this step came during the lockdown. Even with a lot of restrictions, the couple and their family made sure that this day becomes one of the most memorable days of their lives.

MEET THE COUPLE

Engagement Ceremony
The celebrations kick-started with the engagement ceremony. The venue for the ceremony was decorated entirely with flowers, the dominant color being white and with splashes of green and orange here and there.
The bride was looking truly wonderful in her moss green net saree, with golden work and maroon beads. Her makeup and jewelry were on point and completely matched with her attire for the say. The groom was looking equally dashing with his brown tailored fit suit and orange tie and pocket-handkerchief.
If one looked closely, you would notice that their dresses blended very well with the natural surroundings of the celebration venue. Where the bride’s saree complemented the green grass and shrubs, the brown suit of the groom went will the exterior of the venue.
The photographer, Sunny Dhiman Photography, did a great job in capturing the emotions and love between the love birds. His style not only captured the happiness but also their oneness with the surroundings, be it the nature, flower decorations of the hall, or the architecture of the building.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding was also a grand affair and the make-up artist Joban Sandhu and team did an excellent job in turning the Navjot into a princess both for the ring ceremony as well as her wedding.
Following the latest trend, the bride wore a pastel pink lehenga with heavy yet intricate work done with golden and silver colors. Her jewelry was both stylish yet traditional and went very well with her outfit. She had her hair done in a bun which was decorated with pink and white flowers. Pairing it up with the signature kaleere, she was looking nothing less than a gorgeous Punjabi doll.
However, the groom was not behind. Wearing an ivory white sherwani, with green heavily embellished dupatta and turban, along with pearl necklace, Kanwar looked every bit of a royal Punjabi groom waiting to be wed to his princess. The traditional sword completed the entire wedding look.
The theme of the wedding was pink and white and the wedding venue was decorated with lanterns, flowers, colorful dream catchers. The Gurudwara, where the couple took their vows was decorated with red, pink and white flowers along with a hint of green. The guests were not only enamored by the soothing environment and holy chants but also the couple’s dress and love.
The designated photographer for the wedding ceremony was yet again the very talented Sunny Dhiman Photography, whose pictures have mesmerized us and left us in awe of the beauty of the bride and handsomeness of the groom.
The couple also color co-ordinated their dresses, where the bride wore a moss green dupatta, matching her groom’s attire.
The overall atmosphere of the event was joyful and surreal. We wish the couple a happy married life ahead.
