MEET THE COUPLE

Mehandi and Haldi Ceremony
The celebrations started with the Mehendi and Haldi ceremony. The bride wore a blue and golden colored salwar suit paired with a blue dupatta which had a thin silver lace on its border. Oshy had very light make-up done to suit the occasion and light blu and pink jewelry completed her look. The decorations mainly consisted of orange marigold and dark green leaves. The Mehendi applied to her hands and feet was extremely beautiful. Her friends also were not far behind in color co-ordination with one wearing a golden dress having small pink flowers with pink dupatta and the other wearing a peach-colored salwar suit. The celebrations were carried out with as much fun and happiness as the people can have with the bride.
The groom’s family was also not behind is smearing the haldi all over him, to make him handsome for his soon-to-be-wife.
Engagement Ceremony
The engagement ceremony, which took place in Radisson Blu, Dwarka, New Delhi, also combined the sangeet ceremony and was filled with a lot of dance and photoshoots. Oshy chose to wear a sky blue gown with silver and white embroidery work. Her look with elegant jewelry, a small crown, and very subtle make-up made her look a lot like Cinderella. Prayag went with a black and white 3-piece suit where the shirt, pant, and the vest were black and the coat was off-white with a black collar, both of which had self-print work. Paired with a white bow-tie and megawatt smile, he looked every bit like Prince Charming.
Dipak Studios expertly captured the feelings, with poses that show the chemistry between the couple.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding, which was held at Red Carpet Grand in Ghaziabad was decorated with flowers, gave it an elegant environment. The bride wore an onion red lehenga, which was covered with golden and green thread work. She wore a broad golden choker and a long necklace along with the head and hand jewelry, medium-sized nath, matching bangles and single string kaleere. Her make-up, with shimmering dark purple eye shadow, pink lips and copper blushed cheeks, was on point.
The groom wore a golden sherwani that had a maroon-colored collar and cuffs along with golden and marron stoll, golden embroidered jooti and sehra.
The elegance of the flower chhatri for bride’s entry, orchid garlands as jaimala, the fun banter of friends and family members, and rituals were beautifully captured by Dipak Studios. One can make out that everybody was truly happy for the couple.
The wedding was was celebrated by dances and many fun activities like rubbing the kaleere on top of girl’s head (it is said that the girl will soon get married if a part of the kaleere falls on her head) and pulling the ears of a loved one.
