But even today, men and women all over the world are being set up by their parents in what is all-too-commonly known as an arranged marriage. This is how our sweet couple Quincy and Sahaj met.
They saw each other at a local restaurant near their place. Went out to talk privately and who knew that a 5 minutes talking would end up talking for 4 hours! This was when the couple felt for each other the first time they met.

Establishing a true bond of friendship in their courtship period; the couple agreed on becoming close friends and then taking the next step forward. Within just 2 months; they knew each and everything about each other. Be it their likes, dislikes, or even their deepest darkest secret. After establishing such a great bond; the couple agreed to marry each other.

The Engagement

The wedding ceremonies started with the engagement ceremony. Took place at The Rivera Ambiance Island Gurgaon; the property looked mesmerizing. The ceremony was pretty intimate and attended by only close family and friends.

Qunicy looked ravishing in Riki Dalal’s mesh white evening gown. She completed her look with diamond cut jewelry, a messy ponytail, and subtle makeup. Sahaj looked dashing in a black tuxedo with a white shirt; shiny shoes and white-collar pocket. The duo complimented each other.

The Mehandi

The following night was followed by the Mehandi ceremony that took place in the morning. The venue was decorated with mustard yellow drapes and beautiful white and yellow garlands. For the following ceremony; Quincy when for a black blouse and colorful skirt underneath. She completed her look with sunglasses and beautiful jutti.

The Sangeet

Sangeet was organized the following night. The theme of the ceremony was bling. The venue was all dolled up with chandeliers, lamps, and fairly lights. The hashtag with fairly lights as a backdrop was something that was quite quirky and innovative.

Qunicy went with Asian Couture’s white and golden lehenga. She paired her look with diamond-cut earrings and sleek hair at the back. Pratibha did a fabulous job with her makeup and hair. For Sahaj; he went with a navy blue Nehru suit paired with a white kurta underneath and a pocket collar. The duo grooved on some famous Bollywood numbers and enjoyed their evening.

The Wedding

For the wedding ceremony; The Rivera Ambiance Island Gurgaon was all decorated in a royal and lavish way. With beautiful golden artifacts walls, huge chandeliers and floral arrangement all over the venue; the place look marvelous and breath-taking.

Quincy ditched the traditional ghungat look and went with stunning Asiana Couture’s lavender-pink lehenga with silver detailing all over the outfit. She pinned her dupatta on the side with a gorgeous waistband. Her look was completed with a sleek choker set with earrings and mangteeka. Pratishtha Arora tied her hair in a sleek middle-parted bun with gajras and added a glowy makeup to the bride. Sahaj went with offwhite sherwani and a scarf on the color and ditched the safa from his look. The duo looked royal and elegant on their D-day.
