You know when you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams. Maitri and Sahil met each other through an online dating app. Both went through a bad heart-break and wanted to just feel free and explore better options. After swiping right on each other pictures, the duo started chatting. Even after a lot of efforts by Sahil, Maitri didn’t want to go out on a date and just chat and be friends. But finally one day, the couple met and since then Maitri can’t even imagine a day without meeting Sahil.

The couple dated each other for about 2 years and felt that being around each other is the most natural feeling in the world for them. The duo decided to introduce each others family and organized a dinner. Little did Maitri knew, Sahil proposed her on the same night in front of their parents. Seeing this huge romantic gesture, Maitri said yes and the couple decided to get married.

MEET THE COUPLE

The Fairytale Engagement
The two-day wedding celebrations began at Seth Tents in Netaji Subhash Palace with a romantic engagement ceremony. The theme of the party was fairytale. The whole venue was all dolled up in peach flowers, gorgeous drapes, and elegant lighting. The bar was beautifully set up with all floral décor. Maitri looked radiant in pastel peach gown elegant golden embroidery on it. She finished her look with diamond cut jewelry, subtle makeup, and loosely tied hair. The tiara certainly made her look like a princess. Sahil was in sync with the theme in his black tuxedo that he accessorized with black square pocket and shiny pointed shoes.

Haldi and Mehandi ceremonies were quite intimate. The couple wanted to give their wedding a personal touch and opted for making such ceremonies more private. The ceremonies took place at their respective place. The duo went for comfortable clothes so they could enjoy these events with ease and comfort.
The Wedding
The wedding was held at the same venue as the sangeet but with a total makeover! The stage was all decked up with red roses and elegant embroidery work. The royal red and golden drapes along with the hanging chandeliers make the look very royal and sophisticated. Maitri opted for a maroon lehenga with golden embroidery paired with green polka jewelry and a floral hair bun. Sahil looked dashing in his off-white sherwani paired with Kundan necklace and red stole to color coordinate with his bride. The couple certainly looked like king and queen on their special day. Seeking the blessings of their family, the duo got married in the most royal and lavish manner.
