Khushpreet and Rubal committed each other for eternity when they decided to get married to one another. Weddings are sacrosanct in India; especially because this isn’t a marriage of two people, but two families. A quintessential Punjabi affair, their marriage stood as a testament to love.
KHUSHPREET AND RUBAL
MEET THE COUPLE

Choora Ceremony
A traditional ritual in a Punjabi wedding, it involves gifting the bride beautiful bangles which she wears on her wedding day, loosely pronounced as ‘Choora’ in Punjabi. The bride Khushpreet wore colourful and shiny bangles, and a beautiful attire with a nice vermillion dupatta.

Mehandi Ceremony
The Mehandi ceremony has historical and cultural significance; illustrating that the auspicious designs on the bride’s hands will forever mark her happiness. All young girls can be seen with beautiful henna designs on their hands. Khushpreet wore a green Patiala Suit while Rubal donned a sober Sherwani.

Batna Ceremony
Batna is a ritual which is quite similar to the Haldi Ceremony, but with Punjabi rituals and culture. The auspicious symbol of marriage, Haldi is applied to the bride, post which the bride and the groom are forbidden from meeting each other until the wedding ceremony. Khushpreet donned a yellow suit with a red dupatta, which highlighted her natural beauty.

Jaggo Ceremony
In a Desi Punjabi wedding, Jaggo Ceremony is a celebration filled with fun and excitement as the family sings songs and swoons to tunes of melodies, most probably in the later hours of the night. For Jaggo, Khushpreet was seen gracing a beautiful Salwar-Kameez.

Wedding Ceremony
Khushpreet and Rubal’s wedding was once in a lifetime experience; which exuded royalty and peace. It seemed as if Heaven itself had descended on earth, as Khushpreet and Rubal sought god’s blessings to begin this pristine new life that they wished to embark upon. Khushpreet looked like a beautiful goddess, with a red Bridal Lehenga hinted by pleasant green. Rubal, chose to look decent with a subtle and likeable Sherwani.
