The most talked-about Jodi in recent days Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar got married on this 25th December 2020. The duo has been breaking the internet for the last couple of days with their pre-wedding and wedding photos and videos. Both of them look adorable together. Let’s take a tour of all their wedding highlights.

The wedding invitation reads Save The Date and has Zaid, who is seen carrying Gauahar in his arms in their caricature avatar. The couple recently announced their wedding date on their social media accounts and also opened up about their love story exclusively.

Chiksa Ceremony 

Before their D day, both of them celebrated their Pre-wedding ceremonies with full josh. The couple celebrated the Haldi-like ceremony, known as Chiksa. Gauahar Khan wore a beautiful yellow lehenga with beautiful intricate work designed by Mayeera Jaipur. Her floral jewelry was designed by Puneet Gupta. The beautiful Hairstyle was done by Ritika Kadam. Gauahar and Zaid were seen performing at their chiksa ceremony. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Gauahar Khan wrote, “When half of me met half of you and together the better halves shaped our beautiful moments. #Alhamdulillah. Mehendi Ki Raat

Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehandi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to a marriage. The photos are as stunning as the couple. Gauahar Khan wore a beautiful yellow suit gifted by her brother 4 years back.  She got all emotional and posted pictures on her social media. 

Mehendi Ceremony

Matching the yellow pattern she wore a beautiful yellow outfit by Rajdeep Ranawat for her further day events. Floral jewelry was designed by Puneet Gupta. Her hair was set by Ritika Kadam. Both of them wore matching outfits. The ceremony was held very intimate only with close friends and family members. Later in the evening Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar celebrated their Mehndi night. The photos are as stunning as the couple. Gauahar Khan looked pretty in a Mayyur Girotra ensemble while Zaid Darbar complemented her in green. Gauhar Khans jewelry was designed by Madhuban by Manubhai. Zaid’s father and music composer Ismail Darbar also performed at the duo’s Mehendi ceremony. He sang the track Tadap Tadap Ke from the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Both the events were organized by Copper events and decor and concept by Devika Narain & Company. They both looked adorable together.

Nikah Ceremony 

Gauahar and Zaid tied the knot in a dreamy nikah ceremony. After the rituals, they posed for the paparazzi and looked like a match made in heaven. For the wedding, Gauahar opted for a white and gold sharara outfit by a Pakistani designer Saira Shakira with statement jewelry by Razwada Jewels while Zaid complimented her in a sherwani. Gauhar Khan wore beautiful juttis by Juttie express and the hairstyle was done by Ritika Kadam. Decor and event were planned by Devika Narain & Company and Copper Events respectively. Walima Ceremony

Walima, or the marriage banquet, is the second of the two traditional parts of an Islamic wedding. The walima is performed after the nikah or marriage ceremony. Both of them took their social media account to tell the world about this ceremony. Gauahar wore a beautiful outfit by Chaitali Barbhaya. The beautiful long neckpiece was designed by Anmol jewelers. They both complimented each other well and looked absolutely stunning. The event was planned by Copper Events and photography was done by The Wedding Story.

Reception 

Gauahar Khan, who married Zaid Darbar on Friday, danced her heart out at her wedding reception. Gauahar also shook a leg with her friends. Gauahar looked stunning in a golden and maroon Manish Malhotra lehenga while Zaid was a contrast in a black sherwani. Her jewellery and juttis were also designed by Manish Malhotra. This grand event was planned by Copper Events and decor was done by Devika Narain & Company. All the adorable moments were captured by The Wedding Story. As rest of the ceremonies were private but the reception was attended by many big celebrities from the Bollywood industry. They both also posed for the media. Both of them looked adorable together.
