Who doesn’t want to have various wedding ceremonies so that they experience it all in one go? Kannada actors, Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja fulfilled this dream of theirs too by getting married in a two-part wedding ceremony. At first, they had a beautiful church wedding in Bengaluru on 29th April 2017, and later, they married as per Hindu traditions on 2nd May 2017.

Both Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja come from prominent movie families of the industry. Chiranjeevi Sarja is the nephew of popular actor Arjun Sarja and Meghana is the daughter of well-known Kannada actors Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshi who are also recognized as Sandalwood personalities.

The couple had known each other for 10 years including 5 years of courtship. After being friends for so long, they finally decided to be friends for life. The ceremony was attended by the couple’s family, friends, and many other celebrities. 

For the Catholic wedding at the St Anthony’s Church in the Koramangala area of the city, Meghana wore a classic white gown and paired it with a beautiful tiara on her head and a magnificent diamond set. She had always wanted to have a white wedding and had imagined herself walking down the aisle while her groom waiting for her in a nice suit.

For her Haldi function which is called Arashina Shastra in Kannada, she wore a simple yet elegant Red-yellow dress. She really looked pretty. The women of the family performed a religious ritual to a pillar. For her Mehendi function, she pulled off a pretty sea-green dress and looked ravishing.

Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja’s had a wedding as per Hindu rituals and later the couple hosted a reception for family and friends at the same venue, White Petals in Palace Grounds.

For her Hindu wedding, Meghana wore a glamorous traditional Kanjeevaram Saree and accessorized with elegant gold jewelry. She looked phenomenal. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi wore a traditional South-Indian wedding attire and looked really handsome.
