Kannada Actor Diganth and Aindrita ties their Wedding Knot at Nandi Hills, karnataka


Kannada Actors Diganth Manchale and Aindrita Ray who were dating each other for more than 8 years finally tied the knot in Discovery Village near Nandi Hills, Karnataka on 12th December 2018  with showers of blessings in a close-knit yet fancy wedding affaire that comprised minimally of the guests.  They both were in a strong relationship since they together worked for a film Manasaare in 2009.

Going eco-friendly, the couple who is a nature lover stressed on a no wastage policy. Even their wedding invite included a hamper of recycled wood. It contained an olden day glass jar with medi pickle (from Maland), rosogullas, and came wrapped in jute and lace. Their wedding card has their name initials ‘D&A’ on it and a line saying ‘Bong weds Boms’ referring to Diganth’s Bomman and Brahmin roots. Both Aindrita and Diganth wanted to keep the nuptial private, for close friends and families.

For the pre-wedding ceremonies which happened earlier, the couple was seen at their respective residences. It was comprised of three small functions typically seen in every ordinary wedding- Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet. The couple was color-coded with hues of yellow on them for the conduct of these small ceremonies. Diganth’s friends organized special skits and dance performances for the Mehandi and Haldi ceremonies. The couple was seen dancing together, eating, and partying well with their bunch of friends.

 The couple looked stunning with raw silk on them in contrasting shades of red and white for the wedding outfits. Designer Paresh Lamba designed the wedding outfits for the couple. While the bride wore a pure Silk saree in red with goldwork draped in a Bengali style with Shakha and Pola (red and white bangles which is a symbol of a Bengali bride) to ideally match the outfit along with some real jewelry, the groom was seen in a white kurta pajama with a Nehru Coat over it to complete the look. Instead of henna on the hands and feet, there was Aalta, an integral essence of a Bengali bride.

The pictures of the wedding were viral in just a few hours after being shared on social media. As the bride and the groom entered the celebration area ensembled in typical Bengali attire, they both gave each other a smile with a future in it. The trumpets and the drums were played endlessly for their royal entrance at the venue with some Bollywood songs to take over it to the next level.

The venue had ever-so mesmerizing ambiance all dolled up for the extravagant wedding. It was a typical Bengali wedding as the actress is a Bengali by religion. Each detail at the venue was seen designed with elegance and magnificence with real flower décor to the breathtaking ambiance. The finely designed furnishings and the royal décor was just feast to the eyes. The Mandap was not less than an umbrella with intricate decorations with rows of chairs in front of it for the guests to sit and see the beautiful couple taking the wedding vows for life. Brahmans were seen chanting wedding mantras for the couple.  From the entrance to the delectable food to the décor, and everything around was just flawless.

Followed by the wedding, the couple planned to host a Cocktail Party cum Reception on December 15, 2018, at Ritz Carlton, Bangaluru for all the Kannada stars from the industry and a few of the Bollywood stars. The couple was dressed in gold shimmer outfits and looked fabulous for the special day. The wedding saw many popular faces from Sandalwood in attendance- Actors Sudeep, Darshan, Prajwal Devraj, Prem, Director Yogaraj Bhat among many others.
