Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged in July 2018 leaving their fans surprised and extremely excited about the upcoming wedding. The couple chose Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace as their wedding venue and booked the hotel for all their wedding ceremonies. The management team of the Taj Umaid Bhawan palace put in their best efforts to create the ambience that the couple desired for every wedding event, be it the pre-wedding ceremonies like ‘Mehendi’(Check out our blog on the Mehendi function here), the ‘Sangeet’ (Check out our blog on the Sangeet function here) and the “Christian wedding ceremony” (Check out our blog on the Christian wedding ceremony here), they had done a great job at making the necessary arrangements to provide the perfect picturesque background!
On December 2, 2018, following the Christian wedding, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in a Hindu wedding ceremony at the same venue. Priyanka chose to wear a wedding gown designed by Ralph Lauren for her Christian wedding and for the Hindu wedding she wore a red lehenga from the Sabyasachi label. The lehenga was a hand embroidered masterpiece with French knots in silk floss, delicate red crystals carved on the finest fabric. It had taken around 3720 hours to make the stunning lehenga, and no wonder the ‘Desi girl’ shined bright in the exquisite piece. She coupled her outfit with Sabyasachi heritage jewellery, and the entire look was incredible!
