After a grand wedding bash and their Anand Karaj ceremony, the newlywed Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath hosted a grand reception at the Radisson Blu hotel in Amritsar. The reception was attended by many of Kapil Sharma’s friends and colleagues from the Bollywood and Punjabi entertainment industry. They exclusively witnessed the groom donning a purple sherwani embellished with gold sequins whereas the bride adorning a pink and mint green Anarkali!
Kapil Sharma’s wedding with traditional Hindu customs was held at The Grand Cabbana resort in the city whereas the Anand Karaj was reportedly held at Ginni’s house where the bride and groom twinned in pink for the ceremony.
The theme of the night was black and gold where elaborate arrangements were made by The Radisson Staff to make sure the function had the correct ambience for the event. The reception menu had a mix of continental, Indian, and Thai cuisines. Upon the occasion, the newlyweds were seen cutting a big cake & to mark the occasion, singer Daler Mehndi sang a medley of his Punjabi songs at the event raising the spirits of the guests with his performance. While most men and women were seen dressed according to the attire, Comedian Bharti Singh chose a sequin gold gown for the party owning the paparazzi show entirely. In the pictures, both of them could be seen in a joyous mood and sporting a wide grin on their faces as they greeted their guests with much enthusiasm.
The venue easily bragged the supporting actor award here as it aced the arrangements for the stage which was designed in European style with a glass floor keeping flowers in the decor, mostly red roses. The look gained further completion with aroma candles and it was speculated that the flowers had been tastefully picked and brought from Thailand and Hong Kong.
The Radisson also had exceptionally tight security for many celebrities from the entertainment world were expected to attend the wedding and given the smoothness of the ceremony, we stan professionalism in their workforce for the evening.
Ginni and Kapil Sharma’s wedding date was 12th December, 2018. It was an intimate wedding with only close family and friends. Kapil himself shared the first look of himself and Ginni from their Hindu and Sikh wedding ceremonies where the comedian is seen wearing a mehndi coloured sherwani paired with a golden turban for the Hindu rituals while bride Ginni looked gorgeous in a red lehenga. For the Sikh ceremony, Kapil was seen wearing a white sherwani with a pink border and a pink turban, on the other hand, Ginni is seen donning a gorgeous pink lehenga. The new bride looked every bit perfect as she complimented her outfit with heavy jewels and red and white chooda. Have a look at their first picture here:
