Button-Button is a very interesting game. It can be played by children as young as three and children as old as six to seven.
How to Play
Gather all the children and make them sit in a circle with the birthday child at the center. Ask the kids to put their hands behind their backs and hold the hands of their immediate partners with their palms and fingers touching each other’s. The birthday boy/girl is chosen as the “It” or leader for the first round. He/she goes sits in the middle of the circle.
Place the button in a child’s hand. Each child will then pass the button to each other secretly without letting anyone know about the trade. The leader has to guess who holds the button. The kids can also “mimic” hand motions, so they all appear to be passing the button on, in order to confuse the “It” even more. If the leader makes the wrong guess, he is disqualified and the kid with the button is declared winner of the round. However, If the leader chooses the correct name, he is declared the winner. You can play as many rounds of this game, as you want.
